Meet The Owners
Kelly Carroll
Founder
Kelly brings a rare blend of global guiding experience and refined, detail-driven trip design. After leading and designing award-winning itineraries across Europe and North America with Backroads, she further deepened her expertise through advanced certifications in mountain guiding and avalanche education. Her field experience spans heli-skiing in the Andes, backcountry skiing in the Tetons, and alpine ascents of Mount Hood, all of which have shaped a calm, capable presence in even the most dynamic environments.
Her approach to trip design is informed by years spent in the field and a nuanced understanding of what elevates a journey: thoughtful pacing, seamless flow, and meaningful moments woven effortlessly into each day. The result is travel that feels both adventurous and composed, fully immersive while remaining entirely at ease.
At the heart of her work is a genuine attentiveness to each client. Kelly has an intuitive ability to listen deeply and translate a client's vision into a meaningful experience, crafting journeys that feel not only exceptional, but entirely personal.
Thressa Fritz
Founder
Thressa approaches travel design with a focus on care, intuition, and thoughtful detail. With a background in corporate account management, she brings a client-first mindset and a sharp eye for the details that make a journey feel truly effortless from the first inquiry to the final day.
She's the first to admit she's not the one summiting glaciers (that's Kelly's department), but she brings something equally essential: the ability to craft experiences that feel balanced, intentional, and just the right amount of adventurous. She's intentional about stepping just outside her comfort zone, and traveling with her young daughter has only deepened that instinct. Watching her daughter take in the world has given Thressa a deeper appreciation for trips that encourage you to slow down, be present, and fully experience your surroundings.
Her itineraries are carefully curated but never rigidly planned, designed to feel seamless while still leaving room for discovery.
